Emiliano Martinez was sold by Arteta to Aston Villa for £20m as the Arsenal manager preferred Bernd Leno as his first-choice keeper back in 2020.

Berta is in talks with Benjamin Sesko as the club look at alternatives, Viktor Gyokeres is also on the radar after his 53 goals this season.

However, Arteta will be reflecting on what could have been once again in terms of the Arsenal season but the transfer opportunity that seems to have passed by.
