Ethan Nwaneri has made the headlines a lot this season among Arsenal fans.
The teenager is still the youngest player in the history of the Premier League, and many view him as someone who is destined to be a superstar.
However, Nwaneri didn’t get much game time at Arsenal in the first half of this season, and he was sent out on loan to Marseille in January for regular minutes.
That decision from Mikel Arteta has led to some criticism, and we expect that to rise after Gabriel Jesus’ verdict on the 19-year-old.

Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus says Ethan Nwaneri is the best finisher he has ever seen
Ethan Nwaneri is an extraordinary talent.
The Arsenal academy graduate is an attacking midfielder by trade, but he can also play out wide and as a false nine.
The biggest trait needed to succeed in all of the above roles is the ability to score goals, and Jesus believes Nwaneri has that in abundance.
The Brazilian, who has played with superstars like Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Yaya Toure and Kevin De Bruyne, seems amazed by Nwaneri’s finishing, so much so that he has rated the youngster higher than everyone else.

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, Jesus said: “Ethan, I tell you, he’s a killer in front of the goal. He’s a killer. Incredible!
“We play a D-zone game, like the coach has the ball and they play to one player on the edge of the box (and we shoot).
“And my guy, Ethan, is the best I have seen. Out of 10, nine goals. Even 10 sometimes. He’s a killer!”

Be honest: Was Ethan Nwaneri’s loan move to Marseille a mistake?
Mikel Arteta’s Ethan Nwaneri loan decision looks even more embarrassing now
The decision to not give many opportunities to Nwaneri in the first half of the season and to then send him out on loan to Marseille didn’t sit well with many fans.
The teenager started brilliantly in France, but Roberto De Zerbi, the manager who signed him, left the club just a few weeks later, making his loan move look like a bad decision.
Now, after hearing Jesus say Nwaneri is the best finisher at the club, Arteta should take a long, hard look at himself for letting the youngster leave.
Arsenal have been involved in games where they have struggled to break teams down from open play. Nwaneri, who can score a variety of goals, could’ve made a difference.
What’s done is done now, but what Arsenal simply cannot do is let Nwaneri leave permanently in the summer. That would be an unforgivable mistake.
