Arsenal star Noni Madueke has been one of the surprise packages of the season.
The Gunners struck a £52 million deal with Chelsea to sign the England international in the summer, and that move puzzled a lot of people.
Wayne Rooney wasn’t convinced by Madueke at all, but he, like many others, changed his mind after watching him in action in the famous red and white.
The 23-year-old has played in the two wide positions at Arsenal this season, but there is another role he can fulfil on the pitch one day.
How much will Noni Madueke be worth in 2030?
Tony Cascarino says Noni Madueke could play as a striker for Arsenal
Noni Madueke is a brilliant player to watch.
The Arsenal number 20 possesses incredible skills and has the ability to take on any defender in the world in a one-on-one situation.
That makes the right-wing role perfect, but Mikel Arteta has used him on the opposite side as well on multiple occasions this season.
Now, in a very interesting claim, Tony Cascarino has said that Madueke has the traits required to play as a striker as well.

Speaking on The Game podcast, he said: “I just want to say one thing on Madueke. I think he can play centre-forward.
“I think he’s got every attribute to play centre-forward. He’s really direct. He wants to get in, and he sees it. He hits things early.
“One of the biggest assets I learned along the way, watching other strikers, get half a yard and he wants to hit it, he does that all the time.
“We always say, can players play other positions? Madueke could easily play centre-forward.”
If Mikel Arteta gave you the chance to change one Arsenal player’s position, whose would it be and why?
Noni Madueke as a striker could be a game-changer for Arsenal
Arsenal have three strikers in their squad at the moment – Viktor Gyokeres, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus. Mikel Merino can also play there.
All of the above names can be incredible on their day, but none of them have consistently been prolific in the famous red and white.
End product is a concern for Madueke as well, but his directness through the centre and ability to get shots away quickly could make him a lethal goalscorer.
During his time at PSV Eindhoven, the Englishman played nine games as a striker in the Eredivisie, scored four goals and provided three assists.
That is a brilliant return, and with better players around him at Arsenal, he could become a game-changer if he ever gets an opportunity up top.
