Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon this summer.
The Gunners are keen on upgrading the left-hand side of their attack, with the likes of Nico Williams, Rodrygo and Rafael Leao some of the names most prominently linked with a switch to N5.
However, Williams is now unlikely to move to Arsenal, as the player favours a move to Barcelona, while the latter two are likely to be expensive.
Thus, Andrea Berta is eying up alternatives, as the North Londoners desperately look for someone who can ignite their team offensively.
Gordon has emerged as a target for Arsenal, and the Gunners could certainly tempt the Magpies into a sale with a lucrative offer.
With that said, here are four Arsenal players who would be impacted by the signing of Gordon.

Winners from Arsenal signing Anthony Gordon
Martin Odegaard
Martin Odegaard struggled at times last season, particularly during the period in which he had a lack of dynamic forwards in front of him.
The Norwegian relies on movement ahead of him to exert his creative influence, and too frequently, those in the forward areas were stagnant and not making off-the-ball runs.
This is an area of the game Gordon excels at, with the timing and quality of his runs in behind a dream for creative midfielders deployed in the same team as him.
Odegaard could feast with the England international’s movement, supplying him with delicate balls into the space behind the opposition backline.
Myles Lewis-Skelly
For similar reasons to Odegaard, Myles Lewis-Skelly could really benefit from Gordon’s arrival.
As the teenager grew more confident in the Arsenal team last season, he began to become more adventurous with his passing, regularly looking to feed Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard down the left wing early and quickly.

With more clever movement in front of him from Gordon, the Hale End graduate may begin to develop his creative passing, finding the former Everton man with slip balls into the space between the opposition centre-back and right-back.
He’s capable of playing these passes, but needs players who are good at receiving them in front of him.
Losers from Arsenal signing Anthony Gordon
Gabriel Martinelli
The player who would be most negatively impacted by Gordon’s signing is undoubtedly Gabriel Martinelli.
The Brazilian is currently somewhat invaluable to Arsenal, as he’s the only player in the squad with truly electric pace who stretches the opposition with his runs in behind.
Gordon shares these exact qualities with Martinelli, but is arguably just a better version of the former Ituano man, but with more consistent end product in the final third.
Martinelli’s future has already been questioned, but the addition of the Englishman would surely threaten his place at Arsenal.

Leandro Trossard
One of Martinelli or Leandro Trossard will surely be sacrificed if Gordon ends up in N5 this summer.
It will ultimately depend on whether Mikel Arteta wants two left-wingers of a similar profile or wants to keep Trossard as he differs slightly from the other two.
Regardless, the Belgian would likely take a backseat next season if Gordon arrives, even if he is kept at the club.
He’d clearly be relegated to being the second option on the left, as the Gunners will likely want to play their new marquee signing as frequently as possible.
