Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli is facing an uncertain future this summer, as interest circles a potential transfer exit.

The winger had a mixed 2024/25 campaign, where he had his struggles, followed by a late resurgence in form.

Despite that, and with Arsenal’s interest in another forward option, Bayern Munich are eyeing a transfer for Gabriel Martinelli.

It’s a move that could be a record-breaking sale for the Gunners, which could have a huge impact on the squad.

So, with that said, here’s a look at the potential winners and losers from Gabriel Martinelli’s possible move to Bayern Munich.

Winners from Gabriel Martinelli’s potential Arsenal exit

Leandro Trossard

Having competed on the same flank for the past few seasons, Leandro Trossard would be the big winner from any exit for Gabriel Martinelli.

The Belgian international has been an important member of the squad, but hasn’t always got the minutes he deserves, as his teammate has been ahead of him in the pecking order.

Trossard has one year left on his Arsenal contract, potentially putting pressure on Andrea Berta to get a new deal over the line as well.

Ethan Nwaneri

Ethan Nwaneri is looking to do even better next season, following a breakout campaign at Arsenal.

The Hale End academy star may find minutes tough to come by, due to the competition currently in the squad.

However, with an exit for Martinelli, there could be more places up for grabs.

Nwaneri has played on the left wing on some occasions and could return there for some more game time next season.

Andrea Berta

Andrea Berta could see his transfer budget boosted with a possible sale of Martinelli this summer.

The Arsenal director has a decent transfer pot to work with, but a potential record sale could add more to his armoury to force through some other deals.

Losers from Gabriel Martinelli’s potential Arsenal exit

Myles Lewis-Skelly

Myles Lewis-Skelly could be a loser from Martinelli’s potential exit, due to the role that he takes in the team.

The Arsenal youngster looks to invert into midfield from left-back, adding some extra control in the middle of the pitch.

That requires a left-winger who will hold some width, due to the lack of support from a full-back, something that Martinelli can do.

Declan Rice

Another player who features on the left side is Declan Rice.

The Arsenal midfielder has combined well with Martinelli on the flank to help enjoy his best season in terms of goal output.

Rice could struggle without the Brazilian on his side.
