Arsenal hardly generated any money from sales this summer, instead spending in excess of £250 million on eight different players.
The Gunners opted to invest heavily in their squad after finishing second for the third consecutive season, signing the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze.
Jakub Kiwior left for Porto on deadline day, although Andrea Berta was only able to negotiate a loan deal with an obligation to buy, meaning the North Londoners won’t see any returns on the Pole until next year.
Meanwhile, Fabio Vieira, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Reiss Nelson all left on temporary deals, with Sambi Lokonga the only permanent departure who generated a transfer fee.

Arsenal should’ve sold Leandro Trossard this summer
Leandro Trossard was a player Arsenal could’ve looked to sell over the summer who would have garnered a significant fee.
While declining, the Belgian still has a lot to offer at a high level, but is now somewhat redundant in Mikel Arteta’s squad due to the arrivals of Eze and Madueke.
Trossard was linked with Besiktas last week, although these rumours were quickly dispelled by reputable sources.
Currently away with the Belgian national team, the winger delivered a performance for his country that would not have impressed Arteta.
Trossard was dubbed the ‘disappointment of the evening’ on Sunday night during Belgium’s 6-0 win over Kazakhstan.
The 30-year-old was deployed on the right of the Red Devils’ front three and was replaced in the 63rd minute after failing to make an impact.
In his hour on the pitch, Trossard took no shots, completed no dribbles and made just one defensive contribution, while his compatriots accumulated impressive numbers across the board in the drubbing.
A nightmarish outing for the former Brighton man, who hasn’t performed well for his nation for some time now, Arteta will surely be regretting his decision to not cash in on the player.
Increasingly unable to create separation from his full-back and unable to pose a goal threat, Trossard is past his best level and won’t be a hugely valuable member of Arsenal’s squad this season.

Leandro Trossard’s statistics vs Kazakhstan
Madueke impressed for England against Andorra on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Eze has presumably been signed to operate on the left-wing for Arsenal, meaning the mood music for Trossard isn’t positive.
While his direct competitors for a place in Arsenal’s team thrive, the ageing wide man is struggling to make any real impact against European minnows.

He retained possession effectively against Kazakhstan, but Trossard was unable to create any threat in the final third.
Using his 30 touches to produce very little, this was a negative night for the man who is seemingly slipping in the pecking order at the Emirates.
