While Tottenham Hotspur fans are still annoyed about the postponement of the North London derby, Arsenal have decided to sprinkle some more salt on their wounds.

The rivalry between the two North London clubs is a really fierce one. We don’t like them and they’re no big fans of us and that will not change – not now, not in 100 years time.

Arsenal already have the bragging rights this season thanks to our fantastic win over Spurs at the Emirates. We’re better than them in every way and the Gunners’ official website has decided to remind everyone who the superior club is.

Arsenal are pushing their merchandise with great discounts ahead of Valentine’s Day this weekend.

As fans have gotten into the website to place their orders, many have found something absolutely hilarious in the top right corner of the website, right where the ‘Your Basket’ icon is visible.

If you click on the basket before you add any of the products available on Arsenal Direct, you can see a message saying ‘Your basket is as empty as Tottenham’s trophy cabinet’.

We must say, that’s pretty accurate!

When did Spurs last win a trophy?

Tottenham fans had their fun when we went almost a decade without winning a trophy between 2005 and 2014. They definitely had a lot to say then, but they have been very quiet lately.

The last time Tottenham won a trophy was on the 24th of February, 2008. That’s 5098 days or 13 years, 11 months, 1 week, and 6 days ago to this day.

Bukayo Saka, who has won more trophies than Tottenham in the same period, was less than six-and-a-half years old when Spurs last won a trophy, while Alexandre Lacazette, our oldest player at the moment, hadn’t even made his senior debut yet.

If this doesn’t tell you that North London is Red, nothing else will!
