Andrea Berta is focused on sanctioning some sales at Arsenal after welcoming six new players.
There’s a list of players Arsenal could sell this summer to generate funds for additional signings.
The Gunners have already spent £192.6m this window, with only Chelsea and Liverpool spending more.
Though Mikel Arteta’s squad has certainly been strengthened, Arsenal want to sign more players, but such is only likely to be possible if Berta offloads those who aren’t first-team regulars.

Arsenal don’t want to sell Jakub Kiwior
Fabio Vieira could sign for VfB Stuttgart in a permanent deal this summer after spending the 2024/25 season on loan at Porto.
The same could be the case for Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has been linked to Fulham alongside Reiss Nelson.
Another player whose future has been questioned is Jakub Kiwior.
Kiwior has a lot of interest in Italy and was expected to leave Arsenal in January, but instead, the Poland international managed to turn his career around in N5 quite spectacularly.
According to journalist Sami Mokbel, who spoke to the Highbury Squad podcast, Arsenal have changed their minds on potentially cashing in on Kiwior, who cost £20m in 2023.
“In terms of Kiwior, I can see his stock has risen, or his stock certainly rose at the end of last season in Gabriel’s absence,” Mokbel said.
“Prior to that period, it might’ve been his exit that might’ve been more of a priority for Arsenal, I don’t think it is now. I think they’ve seen more than enough of him to know that they can rely on him to come in when there’s an injury.”
Kiwior was spectacular against Real Madrid in the Champions League last season and upheld such quality in the Premier League too, which has changed how the defender is viewed at Arsenal.
“They look at Kiwior now, and he’s proved he can step in on big occasions, and maybe we don’t have to sell him, then bringing in Mosquera as well, four centre-backs, I think the only way that they do the Jacquet deal will be if Kiwior goes.”
That doesn’t mean to say that questions about the 25-year-old’s future are necessarily over, as it’s understood that Kiwior is seeking more than being a backup at the Emirates.
Kiwior’s market value is rising
Kiwior’s impressive form in 2025 hasn’t just impacted those at Arsenal.
The centre-back has become an even greater asset to the Gunners, with his market value rising to reflect that.
| Date | Market value |
| March 2023 | €20m |
| May 2024 | €30m |
| March 2025 | €22m |
| May 2025 | €28m |
As seen above, Kiwior’s market value rose by €6m between March and May 2025, which was when he was called into action to replace Gabriel Magalhaes.
The Pole’s current market value is only €2m lower than when it was at its peak, signalling that things have certainly turned around for the defender.
Whether he can maintain his value when competition is even greater this season remains to be seen, but, regardless, Arsenal have no plan to part ways with the 25-year-old.
