Arsenal are expected to go big in the summer transfer window again.
Andrea Berta splashed over £200 million on eight new players last year, and that helped the Gunners win the Premier League title.
All eyes are on who the Arsenal sporting director will sign this summer, and he has already spent £34.5 million on turning Piero Hincapie’s move into a permanent deal.
Now, a decision has been made on how many more players are expected to come in.
What grade are you giving Andrea Berta? Explain your answers!
Andrea Berta wants to sign four more players for Arsenal but on one condition
Berta is one of the best sporting directors football has seen over the last 15 years.
The Italian showed his class in his first-ever summer at Arsenal, and fans are excited to see what he has in store for us.
There are a few holes in Mikel Arteta’s squad that need to be filled this season, and work is already underway.
The Daily Mail claim that Arsenal are planning to bring in four new players in this window, but there is a condition that needs to be fulfilled.

The report claims that Arteta and Berta want each of those four arrivals to be ‘high quality’.
Previously, Fabrizio Romano claimed that Berta is working on three deals – a new striker, midfielder and defender before the window shuts.
Now, there seems to be a fourth requirement.

Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?
Predicting the four ‘high-quality’ players Arsenal will sign this summer
Arsenal are unlikely to bring in any players before the end of the World Cup, but the players they have already been linked with tell us what they are looking for.
We think the four ‘high-quality’ players the Gunners will bring in are two new wingers, a midfielder and a hybrid attacker who can play as a number 10 as well as a second striker.
It’s impossible to know who those players will be, but if we were to guess, it would be:
- Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United
- Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa
- Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge
- Eli Junior Kroupi from Bournemouth
Will we be proven right? Only time will tell, but we would be beyond delighted if those four players are brought in before the end of the window.
