Andrea Berta has already started work on future transfers for Arsenal, and there is a striker whom he is now thinking about bringing to the Emirates Stadium.
Despite Arsenal signing Viktor Gyokeres last summer, the Gunners are already eyeing a special talent who could compete with him at some stage.
Berta is helping Mikel Arteta to assemble quite a squad in North London, and plans are already in place to keep adding to the Spaniard’s list of forward options.
Arsenal fans are loving Berta right now and rightfully so, with many of his new additions making a big difference to the team’s Premier League title bid.

Arsenal have been looking at Levante striker Karl Etta Eyong
Arsenal are one of several European heavyweights who have been looking to sign Levante striker Karl Etta Eyong, according to Ben Jacobs.
Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Chelsea are the other clubs that have also sent scouts to check in on the 22-year-old.
The Cameroonian international believes that he is a striker with a similar profile to Harry Kane, although many have also compared him to Erling Haaland.
Jacobs told The United Stand: “I did an exclusive interview for GiveMeSport that aired this morning with Etta Eyong, who’s a Cameroon international.
“He’s only 22 years of age and a lot of people are calling him the next Haaland, although he told me he’s more similar in profile he believes to Harry Kane.
“He’s got six La Liga goals, one for Valencia, five for Levante and three assists. And only Kylian Mbappe this season in La Liga has had more goal contributions.
“Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, even Arsenal and Chelsea have looked at the player, and there’s going to be a whole lot of hype when his release clause kicks in in the summer.”
Given Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and even Gyokeres’ recent injury struggles, looking at other strikers perhaps isn’t the worst idea from Berta.
Karl Etta Eyong is flying in La Liga this season
Etta Eyong has been on fire this season in La Liga, with only Real Madrid attacker Kylian Mbappe managing more goals and assists.
The striker has six goals and three assists in 11 matches for Levante, and he could play a big part in helping them stay in Spain’s top division.
| Player | Goals | Assists |
| Kylian Mbappe | 13 | 2 |
| Julian Alvarez | 7 | 2 |
| Etta Eyong | 6 | 3 |
| Vinicius Jr | 5 | 4 |
| Mikel Oyarzabal | 5 | 2 |
The youngster made the switch from Villarreal to Levante over the summer, and the Yellow Submarine will be kicking themselves for letting him leave.
Now, the Gunners are considering entering the race to sign Etta Eyong, and he looks to be an exciting talent.
