Arsenal are close to signing Christos Tzolis, but he isn’t the only wide attacker being pursued by Andrea Berta.
The Gunners have already sold Leandro Trossard to Besiktas, while the future of Gabriel Martinelli is up in the air.
After signing Tzolis, Arsenal are expected to make a move for another winger, and everyone knows by this point that Morgan Rogers is the top target.
That move is gathering pace now.
🤔 PICK ONE: Would you rather Arsenal signed Bradley Barcola or Morgan Rogers this summer?
Arsenal have almost agreed personal terms with Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers
Arsenal have been linked with several wide players over the last few months.
PSG superstar Bradley Barcola is said to be open to a move to the Emirates, but the Gunners are not actively pursuing a move to sign him.
That is because Rogers is the player they desperately want to sign, and Andrea Berta seems to have made inroads already.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arsenal have all but agreed personal terms with Rogers, with just a few minor details left to be clarified.

Soon, the journalist says, the Premier League champions will begin official talks with Aston Villa to strike a deal for the transfer.
Romano said in his YouTube video: “Arsenal, at the moment, are not negotiating for Bradley Barcola. There are no active talks for Bradley Barcola, and the player Arsenal want to add as a new winger is, from my information still, Morgan Rogers.
“Advanced conversations (ongoing) on the player’s side. No issues on contract terms. The personal terms are almost agreed. Just a few details to clarify, and Arsenal are ready to attack.
“Arsenal are ready to go and negotiate for their new winger, Morgan Rogers. Club-to-club talks are also expected to start soon. After Tzolis, it is Morgan Rogers, the player Arsenal want to add to their squad.”
First Tzolis and now Rogers, while work is going on to also sign Julian Alvarez and Bruno Guimaraes, shows that Berta means business and is not messing around.
