Everyone knows about Arsenal’s interest in Morgan Rogers by this point.

The Premier League champions have been linked with several big names over the last few weeks, but the Aston Villa star is said to be their top target.

Reports have even claimed that Rogers wants to join Arsenal over any other club, which is great news if you’re a Gooner.

However, Rogers is not the only player on the shortlist. The Gunners like Bradley Barcola too.

Arsenal think Bradley Barcola would be keen to join them

Barcola is expected to be one of the biggest names in this summer’s transfer window.

The Frenchman could be one of the candidates to leave Paris Saint-Germain, and he has been linked with a move to several clubs.

Arsenal have Barcola on their list of targets, and they could now make their move.

The Daily Mail have revealed that the Gunners are ready to test PSG’s resolve over their French attacker after watching him in action against Sweden on Tuesday night.

Barcola, however, is yet to decide his future and is also aware of interest from Liverpool.

Yet, the report claims that Arsenal believe Barcola would be keen to make a move to the Emirates Stadium before the window shuts.

That is exciting news, but PSG’s asking price remains the biggest hurdle.

PSG want a fortune for Bradley Barcola

PSG have just sold Goncalo Ramos for over €80 million, so there’s no way they will agree to sell Barcola for a small fee.

The Frenchman is a much better player than Ramos and has a higher ceiling, which is why the European champions are set to demand a fortune.

The report claims that Barcola would cost a similar amount to Rogers, which would be a British transfer record fee.

David Ornstein recently claimed it will be more than the £116 million Manchester City have agreed to pay to sign Elliot Anderson.

Whether Arsenal are prepared to pay such a high fee remains to be seen.
