Arsenal’s January transfer exodus continues as the second exit of the window has been confirmed by the club.
The Gunners have already seen Josh Robinson join Wigan on a permanent deal, having come through the Hale End academy.
The youngster seemed to be the first of a few potential exits coming over the month, with a few different players facing uncertain futures.
Mikel Arteta has plenty of options in the backline who are struggling for game time, while a few players are into the final few months of their contract.
With Arsenal looking to add new faces along the way, some further moves may help create opportunities for signings.
The latest of those has seen one transfer struggler complete a switch away.

Arsenal confirm Marquinhos loan exit to Cruzeiro
Marquinhos has struggled since making the move to Arsenal in 2022, with the winger failing to make an impact at the club.
The 21-year-old has had several loan spells, including moves to Norwich, Nantes and Fluminense most recently.
With his return from the Brazilian club in December confirmed, the future of Marquinhos has been uncertain.
Fortunately for all parties involved, a deal has been confirmed with a loan switch made to Brazilian outfit Cruzeiro.
A statement from the Arsenal website reads: “Everyone at the club wishes Marquinhos all the best for his loan spell with Cruzeiro and look forward to seeing his continued development.”
It’s a season-long loan for the youngster, who is primed to stay at the club until December 2025 when the campaign ends.
It’s currently unclear what lies after for Marquinhos, whether a stay at the club is likely to be on the cards or if he will move elsewhere.
However, once he returns in December, there will be just 18 months remaining on his contract with Arsenal.

Arsenal winger Marquinhos’ career stats
In his career so far, Marquinhos has struggled to find a place to call his own as he looks to develop into a top player.
The Brazilian has only managed a handful of appearances at Arsenal, while he is yet to cement a guaranteed place at any of his loan clubs.
With low output so far, there will be some hope that the move to Cruzeiro may be able to spark something new for the winger.
| Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |

| Arsenal | 6 | 1 | 1 |
| Norwich | 11 | 1 | 1 |

Whether he manages that or not remains to be seen though.
