Arsenal are still stuck in negotiations with RB Leipzig over a potential transfer for striker Benjamin Sesko this summer.
The Slovenian international is viewed as the priority target for the Gunners and sporting director Andrea Berta for the months ahead.
The chance to sign a player like Benjamin Sesko doesn’t come around often, with many tipping him to have huge potential.
For that reason, it’s not only Arsenal who have an interest in Sesko, as a new threat has emerged for the hierarchy to consider.

Arsenal and RB Leipzig are at a standoff over transfer price for Benjamin Sesko
As it stands, negotiations for Benjamin Sesko are at a bit of a standstill as both Arsenal and RB Leipzig look to come to an agreement.
According to a report from the Independent, the Bundesliga club are currently holding firm on receiving the full release clause price for the striker.
It’s stated to be in excess of £65 million, with other reports labelling it at roughly £70 million.
While the rise in the release clause price has made things awkward, there is a need for Leipzig to sell after failing to land Champions League football.
It means there is a bit of a standoff as the two clubs see if there is some middle ground in the situation that is a suitable conclusion.
What that does do, however, is leave Arsenal vulnerable to a hijack that they have already seen an attempt for in this transfer window.

Arsenal face Benjamin Sesko transfer hijack similar to Martin Zubimendi
With the Benjamin Sesko transfer saga dragging on, Arsenal face the risk of a potential hijack from some of their rivals.
The report from the Independent claims that clubs from Saudi Arabia are stepping up their efforts to land the striker.
Sesko has plans to continue in Europe, though it remains to be seen if that could change, while Chelsea are among the other competitors who have been linked.
The possible transfer hijack isn’t too far-fetched, as Arsenal have seen attempts to hijack Martin Zubimendi this summer.
Real Madrid have recently made calls to land the Spaniard, even though everything is nearly completed.
It shows that it isn’t too late for teams to try and make their move and puts pressure on Arsenal to land Sesko soon.
