Arsenal are continuing on their hunt to add a forward to their ranks over the January transfer window, with Mikel Arteta admitting that business needs to be completed.
It comes amid a crisis with injuries and a drop in scoring form for some of the most important players at the Emirates Stadium.
While Bukayo Saka is out for a while, the latest ACL injury to Gabriel Jesus only depletes the options available to Mikel Arteta further.
With very few senior attacking players left, Arsenal are turning to the transfer market to see which players could strengthen the side.
However, there is a new link emerging surrounding one Premier League striker, who could be a bargain.

Arsenal eye transfer for Brentford striker Yoane Wissa
Plenty of different players have been linked with a switch to Arsenal to help reinforce the forward ranks for the rest of the season.
The latest of which is Brentford striker Yoane Wissa, as the Telegraph reports that the Gunners are monitoring a potential switch for the DR Congo international.
The report claims that Mikel Arteta admires the fact that the forward can play across the frontline, featuring as a striker and on both flanks.
Arsenal aren’t alone in their interest though, with rivals Nottingham Forest also showing interest in Wissa this month.
The 28-year-old has 11 goals in the Premier League this season – more than double that of Bukayo Saka on five for the campaign.
Wissa is entering the peak of his career and has shown he is more than capable of being a clinical presence in the division.
Along with Wissa, Arsenal have been linked with Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford, a teammate in the forward ranks.

What Thomas Frank thinks about Arsenal transfer target Yoane Wissa
With Arsenal showing interest in Wissa, it’s fair to say that Brentford boss Thomas Frank would be able to give an honest review of one of his star players.
Speaking earlier this season about the impact of the forward, he told the press: “I think Wissa has been an absolutely fantastic signing. I think we signed him for €8million, something like that it’s incredible.
“30 goals in the Premier League over less than three-and-a-half seasons, not many clubs or players can say that on so I think it’s an unbelievable signing.”
While Frank is always naturally going to give credit to his players, he does display exactly where Brentford have done well with Wissa.
Selling him on for profit is the next potential step, with Arsenal looming large over the prospect.
