Mikel Arteta will be eager to bolster the attacking contingent of his Arsenal squad in the January transfer window.
Even prior to the injury to Bukayo Saka, it could be argued that the Gunners lacked firepower. However, with the England international winger now set for a significant spell on the sidelines, the need to make additions in attack is now more urgent than ever.
In all likelihood, Arsenal won’t be able to spend heavily on a raft of new arrivals this winter. However, that does not mean that Mikel Arteta won’t still be able to add some extra depth and quality to his ranks.
Arsenal have been linked with Omar Marmoush. The Eintracht Frankfurt forward could be just the player that is needed at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal fans give verdict on Omar Marmoush
Since this transfer rumour emerged, plenty of Arsenal fans on X have shared their thoughts on what Marmoush might bring to the club.
One said: “We need a forward that can play across the front like Marmoush more than a specialist CF especially with Saka being injured.”
Another stated: “Arteta please convince the board to bring Marmoush. He is electric.”
One Arsenal supporter asserted: “He’s got speed and power on the ball but waste a lot of chances.”
Another claimed: “Omar Marmoush is exactly what Arsenal needs.”
One added: “This is some player! Very neat on the ball, with an impeccable eye for goal . Wonderful ball striking. Pacy winger. Needed at the emirates. Mikel will bring out the fine details.”
Another chipped in with: “He has 13 goals from 15matches. 7 assists too in the bundesliga this season. I will take him for now.”
Where would Marmoush play for Arsenal?
There are certainly rough edges to the Egyptian’s game. Marmoush can be a clinical finisher, but has also been guilty of passing up opportunities.
However, there is certainly huge potential in the 25-year-old, and Arteta will appreciate his pace, physicality, and versatility.
Not only is Marmoush capable of spearheading an attack, but he can also operate on either flank. With Saka out of action, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz competing for the right to lead the line, and question marks over Gabriel Martinelli, bringing in a player who can offer an option anywhere across the front line makes a lot of sense.
Whether Marmoush would be able to nail down a regular starting role either up front or on either wing for Arsenal remains to be seen, but his presence would elevate the overall level of the options at Arteta’s disposal.
