Arsenal are looking to reinforce their front line in 2025 with Mikel Arteta targetting Bundesliga forward.

Reinforcements are needed at Arsenal. Bukayo Saka’s injury has no doubt dented the club’s Premier League title hopes.

January deals are needed to ensure the Gunners stay within touching distance of Liverpool who are currently running away with the league.

Rumours have already begun. Thomas Partey has been linked with Barcelona in recent weeks while Alexander Isak has continued to pique Arsenal’s interest

However, Arteta now has his eyes on Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush who was previously linked to the London club earlier this season.

Marmoush has been on fire so far this campaign. At the time of writing, the Egyptian forward has netted 13 times in 15 Bundesliga games for Frankfurt, as well as collected seven assists.

Only Harry Kane has netted more than the striker going into 2025 which has attracted plenty of attention from different clubs from around Europe.

Arsenal were linked to Marmoush earlier in the campaign as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

However, they face stern competition from fellow English sides Chelsea and Liverpool who are both admirers of the 25-year-old.

Now, according to CaughtOffside, Arsenal are the front runners to sign Marmoush. Contract talks between the forward and Frankfurt have not gone well.

As a result, the Gunners have now taken the initiative to contact the German side about his availability.

However, as well as Liverpool and Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle are also watching the situation closely.

It cannot be understated how good a signing Marmoush would be for Arsenal. For a player to be scoring that many goals at such a rate is outstanding.

If the 25-year-old is interested in a move to Arsenal, Arteta must do everything in his power to ensure the transfer is completed.

The striker would also help out commercially as he is an Egyptian international.

A consistent goal-scoring forward has been needed at the Gunners for some time now, and Marmoush could be the final jigsaw in the puzzle.
