Arsenal could shock fans before deadline day as Victor Osimhen’s future has now been outlined by his agent.
The Gunners have limited time left to bolster their squad ahead of deadline day, with the window to slam shut on Friday night.
Mikel Arteta admitted that his squad is shorter than he’d like following Arsenal’s win over Aston Villa, with several deals expected to happen this week.
While the majority of the action is poised to come from departures, Edu might have just been given a new incentive to chase one high-profile target.

Victor Osimhen’s agent denies Saudi Arabia transfer amid Arsenal links
Last week, reports in Italy linked Victor Osimhen to Arsenal, with the striker rumoured to be eyeing a move away from Naples this summer.
While it was reported that Edu was prepared to negotiate a deal for the Nigerian with Napoli, things took a turn as Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli approached the forward.
Fabrizio Romano reported that a deal between Osimhen and Al Ahli was close; however, the player’s agent has since counteracted such claim.
Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda denied links to Saudi Arabia, stating that his client’s future is in Europe.
“Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction. He made history and when there were major offers (also this year) we always accepted the club’s decisions.
“As I said, it is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets. Victor was elected African footballer of the year, eighth at the Ballon d’Or, he still has so much to do in Europe. There is a need for respect and balance.”
Edu must pursue Osimhen before time runs out
After Arsenal’s win over Villa, it became even clearer that the club require a reliable number nine, as chances were created to no avail.

Added to that, Gabriel Jesus fell victim to injury once again, with Eddie Nketiah also set to exit this summer, telling of the lack of options the manager has in the position.
Osimhen, who scored 15 goals in only 25 Serie A appearances last season, must now be chased by Edu and Arteta, with his future very much up in the air as the latest update confirmed.
