Arsenal have now joined Premier League rivals Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool in the race to sign one Euro 2024 goalkeeper.
Arsenal are currently working hard to restructure their goalkeeper contingent.
David Raya has recently signed for the club on a permanent basis. Arsenal have also been heavily linked with Dan Bentley, who currently plies his trade as a back up option between the sticks for Wolves.
Arsenal expect Aaron Ramsdale to leave the club this summer, as the England man has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium. This means that Mikel Arteta will need to source a new No. 2.
Whilst Arsenal have already been linked with a number of shot-stoppers who could fill this void, a new name has come into the conversation.

Arsenal join the race to sign Real Madrid star Andriy Lunin
According to transfer expert Graeme Bailey, speaking to TBR Football, Arsenal have now “enquired” about the availability of Andriy Lunin, with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool all also having made contact with Real Madrid.
Lunin became a surprise star for the La Liga giants last season, as he made 31 appearances for the club across all competition, as usual No. 1 Thibaut Courtois missed the majority of the campaign due to injury.
Although Lunin impressed during this extended run in the starting XI, his future with Real Madrid remains in doubt. The Ukrainian has just 12 months to run on his current deal.
Real Madrid are certainly keen to agree fresh terms with the 25-year-old. Manager Carlo Ancelotti values what Lunin brings to the squad, having previously hailed the goalkeeper as being “brilliant” and “outstanding,” as per the club’s official website.
Talks between the two parties have been going on for some time though, and with no sign of a breakthrough Premier League clubs have now come forward with their own interest in the 13-cap international.
Should Arsenal push to sign Lunin?
There is no doubt that Lunin is an excellent goalkeeper, and may well be attracted by a move to North London due to presence of a familiar face, in the form of his compatriot Oleksandr Zinchenko, already being present in the Arsenal squad.
However, at this stage in his career, he is surely keen to be a first choice option, which he would be unlikely to be at Arsenal given the Gunners’ recent investment in Raya.
