Arsenal remain interested in signing Nathan Collins this summer, but the defender is now on Tottenham’s radar as well, Arsenal Insider understands.
Collins had an exceptional season for the Bees, scoring twice as he played every single available Premier League minute.
The only outfield player to do this in the English top flight in the 2024/25 season, the Irishman’s form has unsurprisingly attracted interest from a few clubs, including the Gunners and now Spurs.
Arsenal Insider revealed back in April that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Collins, although the emergence of a Thomas Frank-led Tottenham as a potential suitor could hinder the North Londoners’ chances of securing the player’s services.

Tottenham are interested in Arsenal target Nathan Collins
Frank was appointed Tottenham manager last week, succeeding Ange Postecoglou in N17 after the Aussie led the Lilywhites to a 17th-place finish in the Premier League.
Eager to make his mark on Spurs’ squad, Frank is targeting three players who have been linked with Arsenal.
Antoine Semenyo is on this shortlist, and a deal between Bournemouth and Tottenham is said to be developing quickly.
Bryan Mbeumo is also a Spurs target, although Manchester United are still said to be favourites to land the Cameroonian.
Collins is the other known Arsenal target wanted by Frank, and transfer expert Graeme Bailey has told Arsenal Insider that the player is indeed on Tottenham’s radar.
“He is on Tottenham’s radar, he’s a player Frank likes and they are considering making a move for him,” Bailey said.
“Arsenal are still interested, but there’s nothing new to add on this front. The arrival of Frank may make it more difficult for Arsenal.”
Given Frank has worked with Collins and got the best out of the defender in the last two seasons, it’ll likely be difficult for Arsenal to convince him to move to the Emirates.
The 24-year-old would also have to compete with the likes of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, while the chances of playing regularly at Tottenham are a lot higher, with only Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven standing in his way.

Arsenal should sign Christhian Mosquera instead of Nathan Collins
If Spurs want Collins, then he’ll likely move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium instead of the Emirates.
Thus, Arsenal will need to source an alternative, as they continue their pursuit of another central defender.
Marc Guehi has been heavily linked with Arsenal, although the England international is likely to be expensive and may have similar reservations to Collins about joining a squad that already has Saliba and Gabriel.
Christhian Mosquera has also been mooted as an option for Arsenal, and the Valencia man fits the profile of player the Gunners should be targeting for this position much better than any of the aforementioned targets.
The 20-year-old boasts many of the physical attributes sought in a prospective Premier League defender, while also being composed in possession and a very good ball carrier.
Given his age and where he’s currently playing, he’d likely be interested in the idea of swapping Spain for North London and developing under some elite centre-backs for a few years.
