Arsenal are looking to make an active difference in the January transfer window, with just days remaining before the market closes.
The Gunners have largely completed exits so far, with a few deals sealed with players making the move either on loan or permanently.
In terms of Arsenal links for incoming stars, they have been in the forward areas, with Mikel Arteta in desperate need of new attacking options following some key injuries.
While progress on that front is still being made, the transfer window has also offered a chance to strengthen the ranks at the Hale End academy.

Arsenal join transfer race for St Mirren starlet Evan Mooney
Arsenal are working hard to improve the options in the academy, with plenty of stars already making their way through and into the first team.
With plans in place to bolster it further with transfers, some fresh links have appeared over another possible option.
According to the Daily Record, Arsenal are eyeing a potential move for St Mirren youngster Evan Mooney this January.
The Gunners aren’t alone in their interest though, as Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Leicester City are also vying for his signature.
It remains to be seen if the Gunners can secure a deal for the academy star, who has already made some appearances in the Scottish Premiership.
St Mirren are claimed to be under no pressure to sell, following a recent contract extension, which could have a huge impact.
Who is Evan Mooney?
Evan Mooney is a forward for St Mirren, who is capable of playing as a right-winger as well as a centre-forward.
Born in December 2007, the young forward is aged just 17 years old, but is already making an impact for his side.
Having impressed at academy level, Mooney has been handed five league appearances and to some impact as well.

Having been tipped for the top, the winger could be another who makes the switch to Arsenal and impresses, though the race is on to land him ahead of their Premier League rivals.
With little pressure from St Mirren to sell, it could be a long-term move for the Gunners rather than one completed quickly in the January transfer window.
