Gabriel Jesus hasn’t quite had the start to the season that he would’ve liked.
The Brazilian joined the Gunners from Manchester City in the summer of 2022 and hit the ground running. He was one of the best players in the Premier League in his first few months at the Emirates.
However, Jesus suffered an injury during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and the versatile attacker has looked nothing like his previous self since.
Jesus has been disappointing this time around as well – he is yet to score or assist this season. That has led to speculation about his future at Arsenal.
Arsenal make firm Gabriel Jesus transfer decision
Kai Havertz is Arsenal’s undisputed first-choice striker now, while Leandro Trossard has also fared really well in the false-nine role.
An argument can be made that both of them are ahead of Jesus in Mikel Arteta’s pecking order at Arsenal, and that raises doubts over the Brazilian’s future.
Many fans want Arsenal to sign a new striker like Benjamin Sesko in January. Selling Jesus to make room for him would make sense.
Bola VIP has claimed recently that Palmeiras are interested in signing Jesus, but a new report has emerged explaining the Gunners’ stance.
Football Transfers claim that Arsenal actually have no interest in selling Jesus in the January transfer window.
The report reveals that Arteta ‘maintains full confidence’ in the Brazilian despite his terrible start to the 2024/25 season.
Despite the interest from Palmeiras, it has been claimed that neither Jesus nor Arsenal are entertaining the possibility of a departure in the January transfer window.

What should Arsenal do with Jesus in the 2025 summer window?
As things stand, it looks like Arsenal will not entertain any offers for Jesus in the January transfer window, but that could change next summer.
The Brazil international will enter the final two years of his contract in July next year. That is when Arsenal need to make a big decision on his future.
We can’t see a world in which the 27-year-old will displace Havertz up top, which is why we think selling Jesus in the summer of 2025 is the best thing for all parties involved.
The former Manchester City star’s departure will also free up space in the squad as well as on the wage bill for Arsenal to bring in a world-class striker.
It will be interesting to see what will happen next summer, but if it was up to us, we would part ways with Jesus and replace him with someone like Sesko in 2025.
