Liverpool could well be prepared to rival Arsenal for the signing of PSG attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer, according to Ben Jacobs.
The Reds are looking to replace the departing Mohamed Salah in the summer and are ready to sign a big-name replacement for the Egyptian.
Arsenal are keen on Kvaratskhelia, but they could face competition from the Reds in the summer if he were to become available.
Jacobs told GiveMeSport: “Of course, there is appreciation for a player like Bradley Barcola or Desire Doue or Kvaratskhelia and several clubs like these names.
“But are any of them going to be allowed to leave PSG? At this stage, I have no indication that a sale is on the cards, and Liverpool are very astute.
“They don’t usually enter lost causes unless they think that the players are genuinely available.”
Kvaratskhelia is actually believed to be open to joining Arsenal this summer, and the winger could be a game-changer for the team at the Emirates Stadium.
