A summer of change is expected at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Southampton on the final day of the Premier League season meant that Mikel Arteta’s side secured second place for the third consecutive season.
Another trophyless season is set to spark a busy summer for Andrea Berta as he looks to provide Arteta the firepower he desperately needs, Arsenal’s interest in Kaoru Mitoma the latest in a long line of targets.
Arsenal’s academy has enjoyed a spectacular season in terms of players breaking through and making their name, the emergence of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly the highlight of the campaign.
David Ornstein recently claimed Arsenal are stepping up their academy recruitment in an effort to lure top young talent to the club and there are signs of that already early in this summer’s window.

Arsenal send scouts to watch Polish defender Bright Ede
According to Polish news outlet Meczyki, Arsenal are among a number of sides who are interested in signing young Polish talent Bright Ede.
The Gunners are one of many ‘top’ Premier League clubs interested in Ede after the 18-year-old has featured for Motor Lublin in Poland’s top division this season.
Ede is described as having ‘great physical conditions’ and used to play in central midfield, meaning his passing range through the lines has caught the eye of monitoring teams.
Arsenal are reported to have sent scouts to watch Ede in recent weeks and the wonderkid is certainly a name to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
What Motor Lublin’s owner has said about Bright Ede amid Arsenal interest
Ede only made his debut this campaign for Motor Lublin and scored on his debut for the club in the Ekstraklasa.
He has made six appearances in total so far and earned high praise from the owner of his Polish outfit, Zbigniew Jakubas.
Jakubas stated: “You will see that in a few months everyone will say: Holy God, this is a representative of Poland! I like it. Receiving the ball, forty meters through two lines of pass.”
Arsenal saw the departure of Ayden Heaven to Manchester United in the January transfer window but Ede appears to be in the same mould and could represent a replacement for the defender.
