Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is close to finding a new home as the Gunners look to offload the academy graduate this summer.
It’s been quite the saga for Eddie Nketiah throughout the summer, with the striker linked to several clubs in the build up to deadline day.
As the Friday deadline fast approaches, Mikel Arteta is expected to part ways with a number of players, with Nketiah being one of them.
The forward’s nine-year association with Arsenal is poised to come to a close by the end of the week, with an update on his next step now provided.

Arsenal expected to accept Crystal Palace offer for Eddie Nketiah
Earlier this week, Nketiah looked set to join Nottingham Forest however, the deal broke down leaving the 25-year-old’s future up in the air.
Crystal Palace then reported an interest in Nketiah, with matters since developing at rapid speed with a resolution now set to be imminent.
The Athletic journalist David Ornstein reported on Monday afternoon that Arsenal are ‘expected to accept’ an offer from the Eagles for the England international, with talks progressing.
A bid worth £25m + £5m add ons has been received from Palace, a fee similar to the one the Gunners accepted from Forest before communications broke down.
It’s a strong move for Nketiah, who will remain in the Premier League and be handed the opportunity to develop under the guidance of Oliver Glasner.
Nketiah exit has been a long time coming
For Arsenal, receiving £30m for Nketiah is a triumph, with the forward considered to be far from the level required to lead the line in Arteta’s side.
The striker has netted only 19 goals in 116 Premier League appearances however, his attitude towards representing the Gunners has been exceptional throughout his journey in the first team.
Now, the 25-year-old will be given the chance to show his worth in the top-flight, joining Palace at the perfect time with an exciting project on offer at Selhurst Park.
