Arsenal are running out of time to strengthen their squad ahead of the January transfer deadline on 3rd February.
Arsenal want an attacking signing before the deadline closes but have been frustrated in their efforts so far with January a difficult window to add players.
Arsenal have been offered a number of strikers but boss Mikel Arteta only wants the right players for his squad, someone who can add value to his team following injuries to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus.
As attentions turn to a potential loan signing from abroad, given the domestic restrictions with Raheem Sterling and Neto, Arsenal could have found their attacking solution.

Arsenal interested in signing Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich
According to German Outlet TZ, Arsenal are among several clubs interested in Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel.
The report claims that the Gunners see the young star as reinforcement following the injury crisis in attacking areas and that Chelsea are already out of the running to secure his signature.
French club Marseille are also intensifying their efforts to sign Tel and the French Under 21’s player is open to leaving Bayern Munich for the rest of the season.
Tel has featured 13 times in all competitions for Bayern this season but has yet to find the net, contributing one assist in the Bundesliga.
Tel’s ‘attacking diversity’ could be exactly what Arsenal and Mikel Arteta need
Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has praised Tel’s output and versatility, adding that he has ‘everything an attacker needs.’
If Arsenal can secure a deal for the young French forward, he could provide cover on both flanks and through the middle, something that Arteta is desperate for in his options.
Tel’s pace off the bench could also be a useful asset as Arsenal have struggled to change games this season when they have been in need of a goal.
Whether a deal can be struck remains to be seen but in a market of few opportunities, this seems a sensible deal to be had by the Gunners.
