Several Arsenal stars could be on their way out of the club to make space for new signings, and Oleksandr Zinchenko is one who has an uncertain future.

Arsenal are hoping to sign Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori, who is expected to play at left-back, whilst Jurrien Timber will be like a new signing after missing the entirety of last season with an injury he picked up on his Premier League debut.

This could lead to a few departures at left-back, with Jakub Kiwior keen on a return to Italy, whilst Zinchenko has just two years left on his contract, with no talks over an extension.

Zinchenko was criticised for his performances last season, and with the new options in his position, he should now consider his future at Arsenal.

Zinchenko has now confirmed that he has signed with Unique Football Agency, and is listed as their only client so far.

“Proud to start this new chapter with Unique Football Agency. Let’s get started,” he posted on Instagram.

Fabrizio Romano has hinted that this could be a move to sort out his uncertain future this summer, rather than waiting another year in limbo.

“Olexandr Zinchenko signs with new agency as he will be represented by Unique Football Agency to decide his future steps,” he posted on X.

Zinchenko’s contract situation means that his value may never be higher than it is now. He joined for around £32m from Manchester City two years ago, and given his wages, would be a more profitable sale than Kiwior in terms of PSR.

Zinchenko has been criticised, but he is a unique profile in the squad, which is valued by Arteta. He and his new agency either need to extend his deal, or push for an exit if offers come in.

If Zinchenko falls down the pecking order without signing a new deal, his value will decrease, and Arsenal are prepared to sell him this summer given the options they will now have in his position.
