Jakub Kiwior is set to leave Arsenal this summer, Arsenal Insider understands.
The Poland international joined the Gunners from Spezia in January 2023, and he has always been a backup at the Emirates.
The defender did step up after Gabriel Magalhaes’ injury last season, and he performed brilliantly for the most part. He was exceptional over the two legs against Real Madrid as well — Declan Rice even called Kiwior a ‘monster’ after his performance.
Now, his Arsenal career is about to come to an end.
Jakub Kiwior will leave Arsenal and get his wish
Jakub Kiwior deserves a lot of praise.
The 25-year-old has had to sit on the bench for large parts of his Gunners career, but he still gave his all whenever he stepped onto the pitch.
Kiwior won over many Arsenal fans towards the end of last season, but everyone can agree that he cannot displace William Saliba and Gabriel.
That is why the Pole has constantly been linked with a move back to Serie A, and his wish is all set to come true in this window.
Graeme Bailey exclusively revealed to Arsenal Insider that Kiwior will leave the club after Arsenal complete the signing of Cristhian Mosquera.
“Kiwior will finally get his move away, Bailey told us.
“Obviously, he’s been wanting one for a little while. I think he will go back to Italy and get his wish once Mosquera is done, which should be fairly imminent.”

Arsenal fans should be patient with Christian Mosquera
Mosquera is a big talent.
The Valencia defender has been really impressive in Spain, and his performances have attracted interest from several clubs.
Arsenal look set to win the race for Mosquera, and although he will only be a backup to Saliba and Gabriel, fans will be excited to see him play.
But, Gooners should be patient with the Spaniard. He is still only 21 years old, and he will need time to adapt to the Premier League.
If everything goes to plan and Mosquera signs for Arsenal, we are convinced that he will be a star in the coming years.
