Arsenal’s search for a striker transfer opportunity could see them land on a move for Dusan Vlahovic once again.
The Gunners previously showed interest in the forward back in 2022, with his form at Fiorentina suggesting he could be one of the best in the world.
Instead of moving to north London, he stayed in Italy as he pursued a move to Juventus instead, snubbing Arsenal in the process.
The Serbian international has had a mixed time of it since that move, though he could still make his eventual move to the Premier League.
Recent reports have claimed that Arsenal are interested in a transfer for Vlahovic, which could finally solve their striker search.
Adding to that, his time at Juventus could be about to hit a rocky patch.

Dusan Vlahovic faces Juventus contract stand-off amid Arsenal transfer interest
When Dusan Vlahovic signed for Juventus in 2022, he put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal at the club.
That means his contract expires in 2026, putting him towards the final year of it once the New Year rolls around.
That has put pressure on the Bianconeri to find a solution, one that could become rather unsavoury if unresolved.
According to La Repubblica, if Vlahovic doesn’t reach a contract agreement to reduce his wage, then he could be banished from the squad.
It’s similar to what happened over the summer with Federico Chiesa, who eventually left Juventus to join Liverpool.
That in itself could push a transfer possibility into the frame, further moving along the chance of Arsenal securing a deal.
Whether that happens remains to be seen, though contract negotiations aren’t appearing active at this moment in time.

Dusan Vlahovic transfer fee for Arsenal
While it’s unclear just how much Juventus would demand for Vlahovic in the transfer market, there is a rough idea of how much they’d want as a minimum.
In January, his amortisation on the balance sheets at the club will be €29.5million (£24.4million), which is his worth on the current books.
As a minimum, it would be fair to suggest that Juventus would want to match those figures, while they drop further to €19million (£15.7million) in the summer.
It’s a relatively low fee which, combined with his dwindling contract, could allow the side to land a bargain in the market.
Should Juventus push him further towards the exit door in the months ahead, then perhaps Arsenal could benefit.
