Arsenal’s hunt for a striker in the summer transfer window appears to have focused on a move for RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko.
The 21-year-old has shown plenty of potential in his time with the Bundesliga club, scoring plenty of goals.
Arsenal wanted to sign Sesko last summer, but missed out on a deal as he signed a new contract extension at RB Leipzig.
That move included a release clause, which can now be triggered this summer, opening up the possibility of the Gunners attempting to land him once more.
While it remains to be seen if Arsenal will make an official bid for Sesko, the interest from rivals may well create a transfer tug-of-war.

Benjamin Sesko is “keen to join” Arsenal after Andrea Berta contact
With it being no secret that Arsenal need a striker, Andrea Berta has been working hard in the background to sign the forward the side needs.
Benjamin Sesko may well be that, with Berta making contact with RB Leipzig chiefs over a possible switch.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Arsenal sporting director has slimmed down his options to Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres this summer.
While Chelsea and Liverpool are both interested in the former, the Slovenian international is claimed to be “keen to join” Arsenal instead.
An €80 million (£67 million) release clause can be triggered, though there may be discussions surrounding how it is paid off.
Jacobs adds that, while Gyokeres is a newer transfer target, Sesko would work out to be a cheaper option due to his transfer fee, wages and agent fees.
It remains to be seen which one the Gunners opt for, with plenty of interest from elsewhere putting extra pressure on wrapping up a move swiftly.

What Mikel Arteta said about signing a striker this summer
While talks are ongoing about which striker Arsenal should sign, Mikel Arteta was asked about the possibility of strengthening in the forward ranks.
Speaking after his side’s win over Southampton, and the lack of goals from the team, the Arsenal boss responded: “In order to achieve that [more goals], a lot of things have to happen.
“The team has to provide, that player has to play a certain amount of minutes and games. Believe me, we are on it.
“We will try to squeeze and think and turn every stone that we possibly can, to make this club even more successful.
“But I think what these boys have done, the team has done, regarding everything that has happened, I repeat myself, I think they deserve a lot of credit.”
It certainly hints at the possibility of further reinforcements, while also making other changes to improve within the team.
