There is currently uncertainty surrounding the future of Eddie Nketiah at Arsenal.
It is clear that Eddie Nketiah is ready to move on from Arsenal.
Having fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium last season, the Hale End academy graduate has reached a stage in his career where he needs to seek pastures new in search of regular game time.
Marseille’s move for Nketiah has collapsed, as the French club were unwilling to meet the Gunners’ asking price for the striker.
According to Metro, the North London club want £25 million for the once-capped England international this summer.
Bournemouth are now interested in Nketiah, as the Cherries are in need of a new striker to replace Dominic Solanke, who recently joined Tottenham Hotspur.

Will Bournemouth pay Arsenal asking price for Eddie Nketiah?
According to Arsenal insider sources, Bournemouth are very keen on Nketiah, in the wake of his move to Marseille falling through. It is also believed that the south coast club will not be deterred by the Gunners’ asking price.
However, Nketiah is not the only option that Bournemouth are considering at this time. If an alternative target to lead the line proves more viable, then they will turn their back on the 25-year-old.
This would leave the Gunners back at square one, with no obvious solution to the problem of needing to move the player on. Nketiah wants to leave Arsenal, and if he is forced to remain at the Emirates Stadium for the forthcoming season then that situation would be far from ideal for the player or the club.
As things stand, sporting director Edu is determined to fetch his desired fee for Nketiah. However, if a deal with Bournemouth fails to come to fruition then he could be forced to lower his demands in the final weeks of the transfer window in order to entice another suitor.
How would Arsenal replace Nketiah?
If Nketiah leaves Arsenal this summer, then Mikel Arteta may not need to replace him in a like-for-like fashion, as the Gunners already have Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus vying for the right to lead the line. Leandro Trossard can also step into this role if required.
However, the Spanish coach could do with more attacking depth to call upon on general. Arsenal fans want Simon Adingra brought in from Brighton to provide this cover, as he is able to slot in on either flank.
