Several Arsenal players will leave the club permanently this summer.
The Gunners have quite a few players in the first team who will have to be sold at the end of this season, while Thomas Partey and Jorginho are set to leave for free when their contracts expire.
Arsenal will have to decide on the futures of some of the players they have loaned out as well.
A couple of them are almost guaranteed to be sold once the summer transfer window opens, and talks are already underway for the sale of one of them.
Talks ongoing to sell Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga
Albert Sambi Lokonga has been on Arsenal’s books since the summer of 2021.
The midfielder joined the club from Belgian giants Anderlecht, and many people saw him as the next big thing at the time.
Vincent Kompany went as far as comparing Lokonga to Yaya Toure, but things just did not work out for him at Arsenal.
After loan spells at Crystal Palace and Luton Town, Lokonga joined Sevilla for this season last summer, and he hasn’t fared too badly there.
Spanish media have hailed Lokonga’s performances for Sevilla, and the Nervionenses are now keen to sign him on a permanent deal this summer.
That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, who claim that even though Sevilla have an option to sign Lokonga permanently for £10 million, they want to renegotiate.
Their sporting director, Victor Orta, has begun talks with Arsenal to lower that fee because Lokonga has given the green light to join Sevilla permanently.

Arsenal have made one thing clear about Lokonga
It’s good to see Lokonga getting the minutes he needs at Sevilla.
The Belgian is definitely a talented footballer and has the ability to become a star in a mid-table team. But, for a side fighting for the biggest titles, there is no place for him.
The report claims that Arsenal have made it clear that they want to sell Lokonga this summer.
That is why Sevilla are confident of reaching an agreement with the Gunners to sign him for a lower fee, but it will be Andrea Berta who will do all the talking soon.
It remains to be seen if the Italian will budge on the pre-agreed fee of £10 million.
