Arsenal have one match remaining of the 2024-25 campaign before they can concentrate on a huge summer transfer window.

Mikel Arteta has been desperate for attacking options all season and was disappointed when a bid for Ollie Watkins was turned down in the January window.

Arsenal have reached an agreement for Viktor Gyokeres according to reports in the Portuguese media but have also been linked with Benjamin Sesko to solve their striker woes.

Fans are convinced Rodrygo will join Arsenal after Real Madrid entered the race for Nico Williams and Fabrizio Romano has just confirmed another Gunners’ transfer target will be allowed to leave his club this summer.

Fabrizio Romano claims Joao Pedro allowed to leave Brighton

Arsenal are monitoring Joao Pedro after the Brighton striker once again impressed in the Premier League this season for the Seagulls.

Liverpool are also said to be interested in the Brazilian and Romano has now claimed that the forward will be allowed to leave his current club in the summer transfer window.

Brighton will accept offers of around the €70m mark as Pedro looks to further develop his career in order to cement his place in the Brazilian national side.

Pedro is another target that is proven in the Premier League, alongside Arsenal’s interest in Bryan Mbeumo and Berta could be using that as a transfer strategy this window to end the Gunners’ trophy drought.

The Brazilian has been described as ‘technically gifted’ and possesses an ‘exceptional maturity’ on the field as per Littlehampton Times.

Joao Pedro missed Brighton’s clash with Liverpool after training ground bust-up

An underlying factor behind Brighton’s decision to allow Pedro to depart could lie in reports that the forward missed the recent clash with Liverpool due to a training ground altercation.

The Athletic revealed Pedro clashed with team mate Jan Paul van Hecke and was subsequently excluded from the matchday squad by manager Fabian Hurzeler.

Arsenal will not rush into making signings this summer as they know how pivotal the window is in getting the right squad to push on all fronts next season.

However, with Pedro seemingly unsettled on the south coast, it could prove a market opportunity too good to ignore for the versatile forward.
