Arsenal are ready to make a ‘big’ push to sign Morgan Rogers this summer and have fallen in love with the Aston Villa attacker.
Andrea Berta is looking to sign a big attacker for Arsenal this summer, and the England international appears to be near the top of his list.
Which Morgan do you want at Arsenal and WHY – Gibbs-White or Rogers?
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is keen to keep building on Arsenal’s English core this summer, and that is why Rogers is such a big target.
Right now, Rogers is at the World Cup with England, and the likes of Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka should be getting in his ear about a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are ready to make a big move for Morgan Rogers
Arsenal are ready to make a big move for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners remain in conversations over a deal for the 23-year-old and seem to be pushing hard to get a deal done for him.
Speaking about Rogers on his YouTube channel, Romano said: “This is a special player. We saw him with Aston Villa performing in a fantastic way, so I’m sure he’s going to do great. I love him. Top top player.
“But also Arsenal love him, and Arsenal want to go big for this one because Arsenal remain in conversations for Morgan Rogers.”
How much are these five Arsenal players really worth according to you?
Morgan Rogers expects to sign for Arsenal
One issue with the deal is that Aston Villa want £100 million for Rogers, and that could potentially price them out of a move.
Arsenal will also need to sell players to bring in Rogers, as the North London club want to ensure they strike the right balance between squad depth, but not being overly bloated.
However, Alex Goldberg reports that the midfielder fully expects to become an Arsenal player this summer after the World Cup.
Andrea Berta will need to make a big effort to get a deal done for the player, but Arsenal’s chances of landing him seem very high at this stage.
