Arsenal are not short of interest for Aaron Ramsdale as another Premier League club are now eyeing the goalkeeper.

Ramsdale looks certain to leave Arsenal this summer after falling out of favour with Mikel Arteta

The Gunners want to offload the 26-year-old on the right conditions, with a permanent transfer understood to be what the North Londoners desire.

Wolves, Southampton and Ajax have shown interest in the England international however, there’s now been a fresh twist in the saga.

Bournemouth join race to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal

Earlier today, Southampton were reported to have stepped up their interest in Ramsdale but, they aren’t the only club to be considering the shot-stopper.

Now, David Ornstein has revealed Bournemouth’s desire to sign the Englishman, with several ‘keepers said to be on the Cherries’ list.

Ornstein’s report focuses on Bournemouth’s top target being Kepa Arrizabalaga, with Ramsdale listed as an alternative if a deal for the Spaniard cannot be struck before deadline day.

Interest in Ramsdale is far from sparse, with it now being a matter of which deal suits Arsenal the best as an exit looks certain.

Arsenal must get what they can from Ramsdale

It seems that the most likely route of Ramsdale’s exit will be an initial loan, despite Arsenal’s preference understood to be a sale.

While Ornstein did not clarify whether Bournemouth would approach Arsenal to sign the 26-year-old on loan or permanently, the Cherries want to acquire Kepa on loan, hinting that the same could apply to Ramsdale.

It all depends on whether the Cherries land their top target from Chelsea or not, with Wolves, Southampton and Ajax waiting in the wings to learn of Arsenal’s decision.

It’s set to be a decisive week ahead for Ramsdale, who has gone from hero to zero in North London by little fault of his own.
