Arsenal are preparing for a huge summer, with some big decisions to be made over which players will stay and go.
With Andrea Berta joining as the new sporting director, he will be tasked with possible incoming and outgoing players.
While Arsenal want a striker as a top priority in the summer transfer window, there are other areas that Mikel Arteta needs to bolster.
One of those is the wide areas, with discussions to be held over which options will stay and which will go.
Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli have been linked with transfer exits, while Arsenal want to kickstart contract talks with Bukayo Saka.
Ethan Nwaneri is closing in on a new contract, but then there’s the curious case of Raheem Sterling.
With his loan deal up in the summer, there remains plenty of uncertainty surrounding his future.

Galatasaray want Raheem Sterling transfer
Arsenal forward Raheem Sterling has struggled ever since he made the loan switch from Chelsea last summer.
The experienced professional has rarely been handed a start under Mikel Arteta, often featuring as a substitute with a late cameo.
Given the winger’s struggles, Arsenal won’t sign Sterling on a permanent transfer, with a return to Chelsea set for this summer.
That leaves the 30-year-old facing another exit in the coming transfer window, though it’s unclear exactly where he could head to.
Some interest is starting to build, though, as Turkish outlet Fotomac claims that Galatasaray are showing interest in Sterling.
It’s stated that the club were interested back in the previous summer, only to miss out to Arsenal in the end.
The report claims that a “reasonable” transfer fee could be on the table, with roughly €15million (£12.5million) required in valuation to push through a deal with Chelsea.

Raheem Sterling “unhappy” with Arsenal loan spell
It’s fair to say that Sterling’s loan spell hasn’t worked out at Arsenal for any of the parties involved in the deal.
The forward has struggled for minutes and an impact, which was always a risk, but one that looks worse with the context of the campaign.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
|---|---|---|
| 23 | 1 | 4 |
Injuries to the likes of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus have opened up plenty of chances in the forward line.
Sterling, however, has struggled to string two starts together and has been something of a transfer flop.
The player himself will feel just as frustrated as Arsenal, with the report from Fotomac claiming that he is “unhappy” with just being a substitute.
With Sterling looking to revitalise his career, a fresh start elsewhere could change everything this summer.
