Viktor Gyokeres is closing in on a move to Arsenal, as talks ramp up between the Gunners and Sporting CP over a deal.
Andrea Berta has been lining up his centre-forward options in the market before deciding which one will fit best for Arsenal.
While talks were held with Benjamin Sesko, and there has been interest in Ollie Watkins, it seems as though Viktor Gyokeres is the final decision.
Berta flew to Portugal for talks about Gyokeres with Sporting CP, before an official offer will be tabled.
As the momentum seems to push this deal towards a conclusion in the coming weeks, the player himself has some big thoughts and feelings on it.

Viktor Gyokeres doesn’t fear the transfer to Arsenal this summer
Arsenal’s striker saga is set to come to an end, following years of searching in the market to find that clinical number nine.
It’s unclear exactly how Gyokeres will translate from scoring goals in Portugal to finding the back of the net in the Premier League, but it’s a risk that the Gunners are willing to take.
The thoughts of the player in this are also important, as making such a move isn’t going to be such an easy step.
However, it seems as though he is ready for the challenge, as revealed by journalist James Benge on GiveMeSport’s YouTube channel.
He claimed: “I really like the sense that you get from talking to people close to him and people that know him [Gyokeres].
“He is all in on this deal, he really wants it, he doesn’t have that fear that others may have about moving to Arsenal.”
The actions of the striker show as much as well, as reports have claimed that Gyokeres is sacrificing £2 million to get the Arsenal move over the line.
The biggest challenge comes after, though, as he must refocus on the immediate tough task ahead once he joins the Gunners.

Tough Arsenal fixture list outlines the importance of a quick start for Viktor Gyokeres
The confidence from Gyokeres to make the step over to Arsenal speaks volumes to his character, but it will also be important for his start to life at the club.
The Gunners have a very tough opening to the Premier League season, which will put them up against a few of their rivals.

Huge clashes against Man United, Liverpool, Man City and Newcastle await, while Leeds and Nottingham Forest won’t be easy tasks either.
Given the resilience that the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz have had to show in their Arsenal career, Gyokeres will need to hit the ground running to keep the critics away.
His mentality will certainly play a part in that, not least if things don’t start as well as intended.
