If Arsenal were to get wrapped up in that, then they would still be stuck waiting to land the forward.

Similar goes for Alexander Isak, as Liverpool and Newcastle are both battling it out over the future of the Swedish international.

Instead, Arteta can get stuck into teaching Gyokeres about the tactical automations within his team for the new season, so he can hit the ground running.
