The summer 2024 transfer deadline day is here and for Arsenal, it represents a chance to seal some last-minute deals.

The Gunners have been relatively quiet when it comes to adding new players to Mikel Arteta’s squad, moving quickly to land Riccardo Calafiori earlier in the window.

Talks dragged on longer than expected, but Arsenal did eventually announce the signing of Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad.

In terms of outgoings, Emile Smith Rowe joining Fulham has been one major loss for Arsenal over the summer.

With the balance of the squad now addressed, Edu Gaspar could look at some final deals to get the Premier League title challenge underway.

So with that in mind, Arsenal Insider takes a look at a few potential transfer deadline day deals which could go through before the window slams shut.

The future of Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale could be decided in the final few hours of the summer transfer window.

The England international faces an uncertain time at the Emirates Stadium, following a campaign as the second-choice option.

With David Raya now firmly the number-one choice, Ramsdale has been rumoured with a potential move away from the club.

Teams such as Wolves and Bournemouth have all been linked over recent weeks, along with Eredivisie outfit Ajax.

However, it’s Southampton who have agreed a few with Arsenal for Ramsdale this summer, with just hours left in the window.

This summer has yet to see Arsenal sign another wide option to help ease the workload of the current wide options.

That could change on transfer deadline day with a potential move to land Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.

The 22-year-old has impressed over the past season for club and country, making the difference in several big games to win huge accolades.

Nico Williams has a release clause worth just £48million, which means the Gunners could avoid all negotiations and trigger it to progress with a late deal.

In 31 La Liga appearances last season, the Spaniard bagged five goals and 14 assists and helped Spain towards a European Championships triumph.

Williams was left out of the starting lineup in Bilbao’s league clash with Valencia on Wednesday evening, which may hint at a move.

Arsenal could seal a late move for a backup goalkeeper on transfer deadline day to replace the outgoing Aaron Ramsdale.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with several different names who could offer competition for places in the team.

Joan Garcia is a transfer target at Arsenal, having already agreed personal terms ahead of a potential switch.

Garcia impressed against Atletico Madrid earlier in the week, keeping a clean sheet to help his side earn a point.

Beyond him, Wigan goalkeeper Sam Tickle is a transfer option for Arsenal, with the promising 22-year-old earning regular game time in League One.

Kingsley Coman has been linked with a transfer to Arsenal, with his future at Bayern Munich appearing uncertain.

The winger has also been rumoured with interest from Saudi Arabia, though it remains to be seen whether he would make the switch.

The Gunners are keeping an eye on the forward market for any possible deals late on.
