Arsenal are doing their due diligence on all their targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
Edu Gaspar and Jason Ayto would’ve planned ahead when they were at the helm, but we’re sure Andrea Berta has come in with plans of his own as well.
A number of players would have been looked at by Arsenal in recent months, and the plan for the upcoming window must be ready by this point.
Now, there is an update on a winger who has been linked with a big move to the Emirates lately.
Arsenal’s stance on signing Rafael Leao this summer
Rafael Leao is one of the most exciting wide players in the world.
The Portugal international has been at AC Milan for nearly six years now, and he has produced some incredible performances for the Serie A giants.
Leao has been linked with a move to Arsenal and a few other clubs in the Premier League in recent months, and a move could be possible.
Reports have claimed that AC Milan would sell Leao for €100 million (£84.5m) this summer.
However, GiveMeSport have claimed that ‘Arsenal are not convinced he is the right fit for them’ and are unlikely to make a move.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are said to be big admirers of Leao, and if the former Lille man moves to the Premier League, his next club will likely be Chelsea.
Leao’s current contract at Milan does not expire until the summer of 2028.

One Arsenal target is way better than Rafael Leao
Leao is a great player to watch, but there are other options on the market.
Mikel Arteta has always been a fan of versatile players, and someone who can comfortably play on both flanks and through the middle would be ideal.
That is why we think Arsenal should make a move for Rodrygo Goes of Real Madrid instead of Leao this summer.
The Brazilian will cost around the same amount of money as the AC Milan star, but he is more versatile, far more accomplished and would add something to Arsenal’s squad that they don’t have right now.
Arsenal have been linked with many wingers, but we don’t think any of them are as good as Rodrygo.
