Arsenal have come a long way under Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners were in the bottom half of the Premier League table when the Spaniard took charge of them in 2019. There was a disconnect between the fans and the club, the atmosphere was toxic, and nobody really gave them a chance to get out of the hole they were in.
However, Arteta transformed the club on and off the pitch, and Arsenal are now at a place where almost every player in the world would jump at the chance to join.
Even those who previously turned down Arteta and Arsenal are now really keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium.
What Dusan Vlahovic now thinks about Arsenal transfer
Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Arsenal for a long, long time.
The Serbian is one of the biggest names in the Serie A, and he has produced several incredible performances in Italy over the years.
However, his most memorable period was his final 18 months at Fiorentina – he was one of the best strikers in Europe then.
Arsenal were desperate to sign Vlahovic in January 2022, when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was banished by Arteta for disciplinary reasons.
However, despite Edu and Arteta’s best efforts, Vlahovic rejected Arsenal and decided to join Juventus in a deal worth £66.6 million.
Now, over three years later, Tutto Mercato Web reveal that the Serbia international is set to leave Turin in the summer, and a move to Arsenal or Bayern Munich is said to be his ‘dream’.
Vlahovic will enter the final year of his contract in July, and he will be available for a bargain fee – significantly less than what Juventus paid to sign him.

Should Arsenal sign Dusan Vlahovic this summer?
Vlahovic is a very good striker.
The Serbian is tall, strong, can hold the ball up and run in behind, and he is usually a good finisher too – with both feet as well as his head.
Owen Hargreaves even called Vlahovic ‘perfect’ for Arsenal back in January, but we think the Gunners should stay away from the Juventus forward.
| Games | Goals | Asissts | Minutes per goal or assist | |
| Dusan Vlahovic at Juventus | 139 | 55 | 14 | 141 |
One direct goal contribution every 141 minutes is not the kind of return Arsenal should be looking for in their new striker.
To put that into perspective, Gabriel Jesus, who many view as a flop, averages a goal or an assist every 118.7 minutes.
Signing Vlahovic three years ago when Arsenal weren’t in the Champions League seemed like an incredible move.
Now, the Gunners are on a level above him and should be looking at better players.
