Every Arsenal fan is waiting to see which striker Mikel Arteta will try to sign in the winter window.
The Gunners have not been able to sign their preferred number nine in any of the last few windows. That has left a void up top, and things have got worse recently.
Bukayo Saka suffered a long-term hamstring injury that required surgery, while his partner in attack Gabriel Jesus ruptured his ACL and is set to be out for the rest of the season.
Arsenal need a new striker in the final 10 days of the transfer window, and Owen Hargreaves has a suggestion for Mikel Arteta.
Owen Hargreaves says Dusan Vlahovic would be ‘perfect’ for Arsenal
Dusan Vlahovic has been on Arteta’s radar for a few years now.
The Arsenal manager wanted to sign the Serbian when he was still at Fiorentina. He identified Vlahovic as a great option to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but the striker chose Juventus then.
Sadly for him, his time in Turin hasn’t fully gone to plan.
The Old Lady are keen to part ways with Vlahovic after the arrival of Randal Kolo Muani on loan until the end of the season from PSG.
Juventus have even offered Vlahovic to Arsenal this month, and Hargreaves believes he would be the perfect signing for Arteta in this window.
He said on TNT Sports: “Juventus have just signed Muani. “You would think maybe Vlahovic could be an option?
“He could be perfect for them, with his profile.”

Arsenal can sign Vlahovic for a bargain fee
Vlahovic has entered the final 18 months of his contract, and Juventus are keen to cash in on him.
The striker’s valuation will drop significantly if he stays at Juve this month as he will have less than a year left on his deal in July.
That’s why Juve want him gone, and Calciomercato.it revealed recently that the Italian champions are ready to listen to offers from just £33.8 million.
That’s less than what Arsenal paid for the likes of Fabio Vieira and Mikel Merino.
We really think Vlahovic is worth that money in this window, but whether Arteta will make a move to sign him remains to be seen.
