Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been the subject of an offer in the transfer window, according to recent reports.
Ramsdale, 26, is facing an uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium after seeing his place in the first team come under risk.
Mikel Arteta signed the shot-stopper in 2021 from Sheffield United, who made quick work of making himself a starter for the club.
Ramsdale quickly ousted Bernd Leno as the starting goalkeeper at the club, taking the position for himself.
The star signing was a key part of Arsenal’s rise back to the top of the Premier League but he found himself under pressure soon after.
David Raya was signed on an initial loan deal from Brentford in 2023, with the Spaniard becoming the new first-choice.
This summer saw that move made permanent, which has put doubt over the future of Ramsdale in North London.

Wolves make Aaron Ramsdale transfer offer
With Ramsdale’s future seemingly lying away from the Emirates Stadium, there is little clarity over where he could move to.
Reports earlier this window claimed that Ajax were showing interest in Ramsdale, though those links appear to have cooled.
Despite that, and with just two weeks left in the window, it appears as though other teams are now throwing their hat in the ring to land the goalkeeper.
According to The Athletic, Premier League rivals Wolves have made an initial offer for Ramsdale which is a season-long loan with an option to buy included in the deal.
The switch would have the Midlands outfit cover the majority of his Arsenal wages, though a move may be difficult to negotiate.
Arsenal would prefer to let Ramsdale leave permanently rather than on loan this summer.

Should Arsenal sell Aaron Ramsdale?
With the transfer window entering the final two weeks, Arsenal are left with a clear transfer conundrum over Ramsdale.
While it is clear that the 26-year-old will need more game time, a permanent exit would clearly work best for most of the parties.
However, the transfer fee that he would command could put off a few teams that are hopeful of landing the goalkeeper.
A loan deal without a guaranteed buy clause may create further awkwardness should Ramsdale struggle to impress.
On top of that is the desire to land a backup goalkeeper who could offer competition in the England international’s place.
It leaves very little time for Arsenal to do a lot, but if done right it could work out well for all involved.
