Attention is turning towards a pivotal summer for Arsenal after a disappointing end to the current campaign.
Mikel Arteta’s side ended the season trophyless once again and now it is down to Andrea Berta and the club to address the issues in the Arsenal squad.
Attacking firepower is what the Gunners require and fans are convinced Rodrygo is set to join Arsenal after Real Madrid entered the race to sign Nico Williams.
Viktor Gyokeres is the striker Berta wants to bring to the Emirates Stadium and a Premier League manager has also given an update on another Arsenal target dubbed the ‘next’ Mohamed Salah.

Thomas Frank refuses to rule out Bryan Mbeumo sale this summer
Arsenal admire Bryan Mbeumo and the £50m rated Brentford winger is one of a number of options being considered by the club this summer.
His manager Thomas Frank has been speaking about the Cameroon international’s future and refused to rule out his departure when asked if he will still be a Brentford player next season.
Frank stated: “Let’s see, we all love him, I watch him every day and he comes in with a big smile and trains with a big smile, he loves to be a Brentford player but let’s see.”
Mbeumo has been in sensational form for the Bees this season, having scored 19 goals and produced eight assists in his 37 league appearances so far.
He could be an option to provide cover for Bukayo Saka and competition for the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard in the wide areas.
Bryan Mbeumo compared with Mohamed Salah
As per talkSport, Mbeumo’s stunning form this season has drawn comparisons with Liverpool winger Salah.
Pundit and presenter Jason Cundy stated back in December: “Mbeumo, when you look at what might happen at Liverpool with Salah, I’m looking at Mbeumo and what he is capable of, he’s a little mini Salah.”
Whether Arteta and Arsenal do decide to try and lure the Brentford winger to the club remains to be seen but he has proven he can be among the best in the league already.
With the Gunners’ need for trophies here and now, it might be a wise move to go for a player with Premier League experience rather than taking a chance on someone coming from abroad.
