Arsenal need some serious firepower in this summer’s transfer window.
The Gunners have top-class players in almost every position on the pitch, but there is always room for improvement.
A new striker is what everyone, including Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, wants at Arsenal, but Mikel Arteta could do with a new wide player too.
Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain is the latest name to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
How much will Arsenal have to pay to sign Bradley Barcola from PSG?
Barcola is one of the most exciting players at PSG.
The 22-year-old scored 21 goals and provided 19 assists in all competitions for Luis Enrique’s side last season – he even picked up an assist in the Champions League final to help his side win.
Barcola played a lot of football last term, but PSG’s first-choice attack towards the end of the campaign was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue.
That has led to some speculation about Barcola’s future, and CaughtOffside have claimed now that Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur have all scouted the Frenchman ‘extensively’ over the last few months.
PSG would ideally like to keep Barcola and are keen to extend his contract. That is why they have slapped a massive price tag on him.
The report claims that interested clubs like Arsenal will have to pay ‘over €100-120 million’ (£83.8-100.6m) to sign Barcola this summer.
Arsenal are not expected to make an immediate move for Barcola, says the report, ‘unless PSG signal a willingness to negotiate’.

Should Arsenal spend big money to sign Bradley Barcola?
Barcola would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal this summer.
The Frenchman has all the attributes to succeed at the top level, and in an ideal world, signing him would be a no-brainer.
But, if PSG refuse to budge on their demands, it would be a big risk for Arsenal to sign Barcola.
The Gunners would’ve learned their lesson when they signed Nicolas Pepe – a big-money move for a Ligue 1 winger after a phenomenal season.
Although Pepe was not a disaster by any means, he simply did not repay what Arsenal paid for him, and the pressure of such a big price tag could also be too much for young Barcola
If Arsenal are ready to spend big money on a winger, we would suggest Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes over Barcola because he is a lot more accomplished at the highest level.
