Le10 Sport revealed yesterday that Arsenal technical director Edu has agreed to lower his demands to sell Matteo Guendouzi to Marseille this summer.
The controversial Frenchman hasn’t played a game for Arsenal in over a year now. His altercation with Neal Maupay against Brighton 13 months ago followed by whatever happened behind the scenes forced Mikel Arteta to push him away from his squad.
Arsenal tried really hard to sell Guendouzi last summer, but a deal could not be agreed with any club. He was shipped out on loan to Hertha Berlin instead, but he is guaranteed to be sold before the transfer window shuts this time.

Marseille have been heavily linked with a move for the Frenchman for a few weeks now. A deal even looked imminent at one point, but Arsenal’s £17 million asking price proved to be a bit too much for Les Phoceens.
