Arsenal’s interest in Morgan Rogers is known to everyone by now.
The Gunners are almost guaranteed to make a big-money signing or two in the summer transfer window, and nobody has been linked more than the Aston Villa star in recent weeks.
Reports have claimed that Rogers wants to join Arsenal, which is great news as several other clubs are interested in his services as well.
But there is a problem – Aston Villa’s demands.
If you were Andrea Berta, what is the maximum fee you would pay to sign Morgan Rogers for Arsenal?
Watch these goals and assists from Morgan Rogers. This is why Arsenal should sign him!
Arsenal do not agree with Aston Villa’s valuation of Morgan Rogers
Morgan Rogers is one of the most exciting players in the Premier League.
The Englishman has been incredible for Aston Villa and has become one of Unai Emery’s most important players in attack.
Arsenal are absolutely right to target a player like Rogers as they don’t have anyone else like him in their squad.
Football Transfers have claimed that Andrea Berta is a huge admirer of the 23-year-old and has already ‘conducted extensive groundwork on a deal to sign’ him.

However, the report reveals that Villa value their star man at £100 million.
That is the initial fee Arsenal paid to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United in 2023, but it seems like they don’t think Rogers is on the same level.
It has been revealed that the Gunners’ valuation of Rogers is ‘significantly less’ than what Villa want for him, which suggests they will not bid £100 million for him this summer.
Whether that stance changes, however, remains to be seen.
Which Morgan do you want at Arsenal and WHY – Gibbs-White or Rogers?
Arsenal may have to overpay to sign Morgan Rogers
Villa are not wrong to demand a massive fee for Rogers.
The last potential superstar they had – Jack Grealish – was sold for £100 million as well, so it’s only natural that they would want similar money for their current main man.
Arsenal are also well within their right to disagree with the valuation, but if they really want him, they may have to pay over the odds.
That’s because Chelsea are also keen to sign Rogers, and we all know the financial lengths the Blues will go to in order to get their targets.
It remains to be seen how far Arsenal will go now if they formalise their interest in Rogers with a bid in the next two months.
