Oleksandr Zinchenko has become a peripheral figure at Arsenal over the last year, and his future at the North London club is subsequently uncertain.
The Ukrainian made just five Premier League starts last season, falling behind the likes of Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly in the pecking order.
Lewis-Skelly signed a new contract earlier this summer, while Calafiori only joined the Gunners 12 months ago, meaning it’s unlikely that Zinchenko is going to usurp either of them any time soon.
With just a year remaining on his contract in N5, and no sign of a new deal imminent, the left-back certainly isn’t long for Arsenal.

Arsenal are ‘listening to offers’ for Oleksandr Zinchenko
Arsenal signed Zinchenko from Manchester City for £30 million in the summer of 2023.
Enjoying an excellent debut campaign in North London, the Ukraine captain has gone on to make 91 appearances for the Gunners.
However, his last two years at the Emirates have been plagued by injury issues and defensive lapses, which have prompted Mikel Arteta to use him less frequently as time has gone on.
With 12 months remaining until he’s a free agent, the question surrounding the player is whether Arsenal will cash in now or let him go for nothing.
“Oleksandr Zinchenko is a player Arsenal are listening to offers for,” journalist Sami Mokbel told the Latte Firm YouTube channel.
“I haven’t heard they’re actively trying to sell him, but European football circles and people in the industry know he’s a player Arsenal would consider offers for.”
AC Milan were linked with Zinchenko earlier in the window, although nothing concrete has developed on that front.
Regardless, it’s clear from Mokbel’s comments that clubs in Europe are aware that Arsenal are looking to sell, and this is likely linked to the lack of movement yet.
Potential suitors know that the Gunners have about six weeks left to garner a fee for the former Manchester City man, and may wait until late in the window to swoop, to attain the best possible deal.

How much should Arsenal look to get when selling Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer?
Given he’s entirely surplus to requirements, Arsenal should definitely look to make some money on Zinchenko this summer, rather than letting him leave for free in 2026.
That said, the Gunners simply aren’t going to garner a significant fee for the 28-year-old.
With a year left on his deal, his lowly status in the squad and his age, Arsenal can’t reasonably expect to bring in more than £10 million for the defender.
Factor in his purported £200,000 a week (via Capology), and the North London club may even be lucky to get this fee.
| Oleksandr Zinchenko’s Premier League Statistics 2023/24 | |
| Appearances | 27 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Assists | 2 |
| Pass Accuracy | 87.6% |
| Progressive Passes per 90 | 12 |
| Passes into the Final Third per 90 | 8.06 |
| Key Passes per 90 | 1.52 |
Teams on the continent have little money to spend, and this fee would make Zinchenko one of the most highly paid players at most clubs that aren’t one of the top sides competing to win the Champions League.
The playmaking full-back is still an excellent passer and can offer a lot, particularly in a less physically intense league, but the finances involved make it an unpalatable deal for many clubs.
If Arsenal can extract close to this £10 million mark, then they’ll have done very well.
