Arsenal could be set for several transfer exits this summer, and interest is growing in academy graduate Reiss Nelson.
Nelson was one of the brightest prospects to come through the Hale End Academy to reach the Arsenal first team when he first broke through in 2017, but it has been an inconsistent few years for him.
The 24-year-old has shown flashes of the remarkable talent he possesses but was deprived of game time last season as he started just one Premier League match under Mikel Arteta.
The winger signed a long-term contract a year ago, but now looks set to depart this summer. Arsenal are keen on adding a winger to the squad, and are admirers of Euro 2024 star Nico Williams.
Nelson attracted interest from a lot of sides in the Premier League and beyond, and West Ham are now the front-runners for his signature, and all sides want to resolve his situation quickly.
Reiss Nelson wants Arsenal future resolved before USA pre-season tour
Arsenal Insider understands that Nelson wants his uncertain future to be resolved before he has to travel with Arsenal to their pre-season tour in the USA.
Arsenal also want his situation to be sorted quickly, and before the squad travels to America on July 21st, but they would be willing to let him miss the tour to finalise a transfer away if a move develops before then.
West Ham, as well as Crystal Palace, Fulham and Brentford, are keen on Nelson, but none have made a formal offer yet.
What kind of transfer fee could Arsenal demand for Reiss Nelson?

Nelson is a homegrown winger who can play on both sides, and despite his struggles for game time, is a player who can thrive if given regular opportunities.
The Englishman has three years left on his £100k-a-week contract, but his wage demands may lead to a lower transfer fee in terms of what West Ham or other interested parties want to offer.
Arsenal are reportedly set to demand around £40m for Emile Smith Rowe, having already knocked back a bid from Fulham. It seems unlikely that they will receive anything close to this for Nelson.
Any transfer fee made from Nelson’s sale would be pure profit in terms of PSR (profit and sustainability regulations).
It was previously reported that Edu Gaspar is demanding a fee of around £20m for Nelson, but whilst some may consider this fairly low in comparison to other deals, it would still provide a massive financial boost for Arsenal this summer.
