Jeremy Monga is the talk of the transfer window so far for Arsenal supporters.

Arsenal are working on a deal to sign Jeremy Monga from Leicester City, and it’s understood that personal terms have already been agreed.

The Gunners still have to agree a deal with the Foxes, who are believed to be demanding around £15m to sanction his sale.

That said, ahead of the potential signing, we decided to visit some interesting quotes from young talent expert Jacek Kulig about the 16-year-old wonderkid.

Arsenal target Jeremy Monga compared to Vinicius Jr

Kulig is regarded as one of the best journalists in the academy space, as he is an expert at spotting young talent.

Interestingly, the journalist has written a report on Monga previously (via Leicester City News).

Kulig actually compared Monga to Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr and he pinpointed exactly where the teenager really excels in his game.

“His ability to accelerate in tight spaces and sprint past defenders makes him a constant threat on the wing.

“Very positive on the ball, unpredictable, and confident of his skills. Doesn’t hesitate to use his weaker left foot and is capable of dribbling, passing, and scoring comfortably with it.”

🏆 Which Arsenal star will go the furthest at this summer’s World Cup?

He rounded off the profile on Monga by awarding him a 9.5/10 potential rating, which is extremely rare.

“Player has the potential to become a key player in a top European club.”

Evidently, Monga wouldn’t just join as an under-21s player, he’d more than likely go straight into the first-team and assume a similar role to Max Dowman.

If Kulig’s prediction comes true, it’s a no-brainer for Arsenal to shell out £15m on his signature, as he’ll be worth up to 10 times more than that in a few years.
